How You Can Make a Lasting Difference Leaflet

Legacies are a lifeline for our parishes. Each year around 4,000 people leave a gift in their will to a Church of England parish. In total, parishes receive around £55 million in legacy gifts each year – gifts to finance mission projects, maintain beautiful church buildings and grow faithful communities.

This leaflet provides an introduction to legacies and will writing and the different ways a legacy can be left to your local parish church including wording for a generic will clause.

It can be distributed to church members as part of a light touch Giving Review or made available at the back of church for individuals to take away.
